To be a contractor with YUPRO Placement means that you are a worker hired by us as your W-2 employer to work on a temporary or contract basis for our clients. You are considered an employee of YUPRO Placement but assigned to work at the client’s site. With good performance, many of our clients consider converting our contractors to full-time employees.
There are many benefits to contract work, and at YUPRO Placement we provide ancillary support such as upskilling learning opportunities, coaching during your assignment, social support, and peer counseling, all at no cost to you. Other benefits of a contract assignment include:

Opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience: You can work on various projects and with different clients. This can lead to career progression opportunities and higher wages as you learn new skills and take on more responsibility.

Networking opportunities: You can meet people in your field and build relationships.

Potential to convert to a full-time employee in a job you love! Many of our contractors convert to full-time employment after 6-18 months on assignment with good performance, loyalty, and hard work.

To be an apprentice with YUPRO Placement means that you are a worker, called an apprentice, hired by us as your W-2 employer to work on a contract basis, and you are learning on the job while working. You are typically assigned a job-specific learning pathway in which you follow courses online and attend professional development sessions with YUPRO Placement coaches who support your professional development. You are considered an employee of YUPRO Placement, called an ‘apprentice’, and you are assigned to work at the client’s site. With good performance, many of our clients consider our apprentices to either extend their work and convert to a full-time contract or convert you to a full-time employment opportunity.
