YUPRO Honored for Best Work-Based Training Program in U.S. Staffing and Recruiting Industry
[BOSTON, MA, Oct. 7, 2022]—YUPRO’s IBM SkillsBuild Certification Program partnership has been recognized as a top job training program by the American Staffing Association. This national awards program recognizes the most innovative and effective work-based learning programs to train, upskill, and reskill temporary and contract employees. YUPRO has been recognized by ASA for three consecutive years as they continue to build career support services through the IBM SkillsBuild partnership and provide free certifications in IT and cybersecurity. This certification program is free to YUPRO’s entire talent community and is part of the IBM initiative to upskill 30 million people by 2030.
YUPRO was honored for its partnership with IBM SkillsBuild, which provides early career young adults without four-year degrees the opportunity to build skills during either YUPRO contract assignments, YUPRO’s OnRamps@Work Apprenticeship Program, or YUPRO’s Job Seeker Bootcamp Program. The IBM SkillsBuild Certification Program partnership offers opportunities for talent to build their skills and confidence with a customized learning path based on their career aspirations. The ultimate goal of the YUPRO program is to break down barriers of job access for underrepresented talent and provide them with the tools they need to be successful in the workforce.
